Roma, sunshine and more than 250 riders
Let’s tick off why we’re excited. One, there’s less than 24 hours remaining until Round 1 of the 2024 Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship presented by MXstore (AORC) kicks off! Two, it’s blue skies and an average of 31 degrees here in Roma, Queensland. Three, we’ve got a super stacked field for the opening rounds.
We could keep counting off the wins and believe us, we would. We’ll let you get right to the details you want though – the entry list, where to get results and everything you need to know about Roma and racing this weekend.
Entry List
The field is calm, cool and collected ahead of tomorrow’s opening round. Tackling the hot Queensland weather this weekend is more than 250 racers from Australia and across the globe. Rounds 1 & 2 feature back-to-back Sprints, with predominantly sandy tracks.
You’ll see some familiar names from 2023, as well as a welcome returning rider and two new international riders! You can see if your favourite made the list online, here.
It’s a clean slate, so it’s anyone’s guess as to who will clinch a podium spot for the first weekend.
Visit Roma
Not to be confused with Rome in Italy, Roma sits about 350 km north-west of Toowoomba, Queensland. Home to the southern hemisphere’s largest sale yards, you can also enjoy 100 bottle trees planted down the heritage-listed Heroes’ Avenue.
